“Hands-free sightseeing
“Hands-free sightseeing” is a service that allows you to enjoy sightseeing without carrying any luggage.
This service is available to guests staying at Noboribetsu Onsen on the day, and involves delivering your luggage from “NIXE” to your accommodation.
After enjoying your time at “NIXE”, you can enjoy sightseeing in the city or Noboribetsu Bear Park empty-handed.
You can also enjoy sightseeing without the hassle of searching for coin lockers at each destination or repeatedly taking your luggage in and out.

Pets are not permitted inside the museum, with the exception of assistance dogs (guide dogs, service dogs, hearing dogs). In addition, we cannot take care of pets inside the museum. Please leave your pet at a nearby pet facility.

Smoking Area
Smoking is prohibited inside the aquarium. Smoking using a portable ashtray or while walking is also prohibited. Please smoke in the one smoking area located within the aquarium. Please check the facility map on the top page for the location of the smoking area.
About Free Wi-Fi
Noboribetsu Marine Park Nixe offers free Wi-Fi service to its users. It is available in the following areas (there are also several other spots with Wi-Fi marks).

Barrier-free Restrooms
There is one on the second floor of “Aquarium Nixe Castle,” one next to the group restaurant “Hans,” and one inside the “Amphibian House.”
*One in “Noboribetsu Beach Park” in the front yard of the facility (free admission)
Wheelchair accessible restrooms
It is located to the left of the Crystal Tower tank at the front of the entrance to NIXE Castle’s 2nd floor.
– Although there are ramps installed in various places within the park, there are also some places where you will need to use stairs or an elevator. We ask for your understanding.

Please stop by the Gate Hall Information Desk on the day (reservations are not accepted). When borrowing an item, please fill out the rental book. Items will be borrowed on a first-come, first-served basis, so it may be that all items are already borrowed.

If you are injured or feel unwell, please inform the information desk at the first aid room (we do not sell oral medication).
Also, the first aid room is equipped with an AED (automated external defibrillator).

When borrowing, please pay the fee and enter the details in the loan book.
Items will be loaned out on a first-come, first-served basis, so it may be the case that all items are currently loaned out.
We recommend that you bring a stroller, but please refrain from bringing large strollers that can carry multiple people, such as carrier wagons.
※We may not be able to lend you a stroller depending on your child’s height and weight.
・There are ramps installed in various places within the park, but there are also some locations where you will need to use stairs or elevators. In addition, there are some areas, such as attraction venues, where strollers cannot be entered.
Nursing room
There is one nursing room on the left hand side of the Gate Hall (towards the men’s restroom). This nursing room is for women only, and is for one mother-child pair at a time. It can only be used when there is a “Vacant” card hanging on the doorknob.
There are no hot or boiling water facilities, so please speak to the information desk if you require one.
There are no beds for changing diapers in the nursing room. They are located in the women’s restroom.
Changing table
Diaper changing tables are installed in each women’s restroom.
They are available in multiple locations within the park, such as next to the Gate Building, on each floor of Nixe Castle, and in attraction facilities (there are no diaper changing tables in nursing rooms). Please note that disposable diapers are not sold.
