Our facility keeps two types of dolphins: the grey bottlenose dolphin and the white-and-black Pacific dolphin. The performances in the dolphin pool, where each dolphin shows off their special skills, are a popular attraction that always draws loud cheers. Enjoy the dynamic dolphin show, where the dolphins run freely in the water and jump acrobatically.

The adorable southern fur seals with their big black eyes will show off their balancing skills and ring toss. They’ll sometimes fail or get sulky, but that’s part of the charm. Their well-coordinated interactions with the trainers are also a highlight.

The parade of penguins moves at their own pace, sometimes straying from the course and sometimes stopping suddenly. The penguins, with their small strides and gentle movements, are popular as photogenic subjects.

PENGUIN PARADE Time

PENGUIN Pavilion

This is where the penguins usually spend their time. There are three kinds of penguins living here: the second largest in the world, the King Penguin, the shy African-born African penguin, and the Gentoo Penguin, the fastest swimmer in the penguin world. This is where the Penguin Parade starts.

The only place in Hokkaido! A show that unfolds in every season

It’s a spectacular show where a school of 10,000 small sardines creates waves. The metallic bodies of these blue fish glitter and glitter as they cross the water in front of your eyes, creating a truly galaxy-like spectacle. A fantastical scene, as if they were dancing to the light and music, is staged in a 10-meter-wide cylindrical tank. When food is thrown in halfway through, the fish all swarm around it at once, displaying dynamic movements that are truly impressive.
