Some penguins live in warmer regions. The Cape penguins we keep at Marine Park Nix live in a warm region called South Africa.

Seals are mammals like humans, so their body temperature is 36.0-37.0℃.

They can only swim at a maximum speed of about 30 km/h. Seals, by the way, have a maximum speed of 20 km/h.

The largest seal is the southern elephant seal(Mirounga leonina). They are said to grow up to 3,000kg in captivity & 4,000kg in the wild.

They breathe through the "breathing hole" on the top of their head!
